Sam, Rick and Charlie...Thanks for the comments...Winter outings are usually pretty fun,...especially mixed with bottles! Here are the two Blobs that came out of there two weeks ago,....One is a whole version of my shard,...The other is from the small nearby town of Eldred Pa where the Dennis cure I found recently also originated....

We never used to think of Eldred Pa as a source for bottles,...but turns out they had TWO pat. med. makers and probably a few more we don't know of... This guy was headless when I found it,...had to glue the neck back on. [] I later found out it's a pretty rare cure...[]

Holy Toledo Joe !! One has to be serious about bottles to go trudging through snow like that for a dig !! Sitting here in my pyjamas looking at that, I nearly had to go and get a bottle myself - a hot water bottle [] !

Leopard-crawling out through all that snow and then dodging bullets from over-zealous hunters !! Bottle digging is not for the faint-hearted [] !

Winter stretches quite long here, and the bottle bug gets restless and agitated unless we feed it Dale...[] Only problem was,...all the hunters are in the woods, and the deer are down hanging around the houses...LoL, my wife snapped these pics today after our outing, just up the road from us.

OK Joe, bit tricky when you get home, shivering with cold and the deer is sitting in your living room with a pipe and a newspaper ! [] By contrast my wife has just come back from her morning swim at nearby Fish Hoek beach, and I could actually see her (if indistinctly) via the webcam that shows the beach !

If you give me some idea of where you are, I'd love to track it on Google earth. (Unless you're worried about the bottle terrorists tracking you down!)
