$40,000 Barrel for a $1 !!!

Hiking Around Today

Cool you have to walk in the water to get to the spot,that's why I think it will yield some high quality stuff.One of the reasons is it's not really accesable by land and unless you're a bottle hunter/collector you wouldn't really know it's a dumping area. I found it when I was trout fishing...

Hiking Around Today

Where are you in York? I'm in the township near Apple Hill right off the trail . Got a promising possible dump in Glen Rock I wanna hit when the weather get warm,it's a feeder that dumps into Codorus creek. I just need some help clearing out the briars and such from what I have found I believe...

Where are the old dumps ?

RE: Lancaster County PA? Hey JP I'm in York also I know of a dump near Glen Rock that has 50's and late 40's stuff but from what I've been told there is much older stuff to be found near there.I know there is a Glen Rock municipal dump from the founding time of the area.Just don't know where it...

Orignal Budwiser Bottle ...anybody have one of these?

The new stuff is probably pisswater in comparison to the original.Just like the old National Bohemian beer (natty boh) compared to todays swill they try to pass off as the old stuff.

I spoke to a local collector today and he said it was him who left the coke can in the pit. He could have least left it 3 feet down!! instead of throwing it in at the bottom. To borrow a quote from Larry the Cable Guy...

Who's diggin Central PA these days?

I'm with ya man.I live in the York area and would like to hook up with some diggers in the area cuz it's been a while fer me .I used to live in Baltimore and there were woods down the street from where I lived just loaded with turn of the century area bottle dumps (mostly dug out now,alas)...

I used to dig a bunch of Hires bottles and tons of Fletcher's castoria bottles in the dump in the Herring Run rd dump.You familiar with that one?
