Hi Everyone. I have this squat creamer and I'm wondering if it's direct from Mexico or Pier One or is it an actual old piece. I'll post some pics, any help is greatly appreciated. More pics in next posts.
this globular glass vase that I think is maybe newer Mexico but something made me ask here to be sure.
It has legitimate base wear (hard to photograph) so I don't think it's brand spanking new but I'd appreciate your expert thoughts on the age and origin of this piece.
Measures 6+1/2" high...
What can you guys tell me about this bottle ? Is it a soda, beer, med ? How old and approx. value ?
Looks like it's never been cleaned. HUGE OP on base.
Embossed C. ELLIS & CO PHILADA
I found it in a tiny antique store here in MA.
I have no idea what these are going for now-a-days but just in case anybody is interested, this one ends on the 31st.
Sometimes you can get a good deal on this site.

Hi Everyone !
I was wondering if this is an ink bottle. It looks like the English Inks I see but this one is very small at 2 3/4" high.
Do you think it's older or a repro ?
No spout.
Two pics to follow.
Thanks in advance !
I picked this bottle in a local antique store for $2.00. I love the dark green and large letters. It says "J.T. MILNE & SON TARVIN BRIDGE CHESTER". The base is embossed "C.S & CO.LD" I'm pretty sure it's English but what sort of liquid ? Beer, ale or maybe water ?It looks nice next to...
The bottle itself isn't unusual, just a round, clear BIM about 4" high. I love the label though. I have the common Hood's Sarsarparilla panel in aqua, both large and small but I've never seen the label for the pills called SARSATABS.. I think they were chocolate coated ?...
Hello !
I am hoping someone can give me an idea of what this bottle was used for...food, medicine ?
It's approx. 10" high and has 12 panels. Aqua with an applied top. Smooth base and embossed "HAAS, BARUCH & CO. LOS ANGELES"
TIA !
Hello Everybody !
I just picked up this square dark glass bottle. It looks black until held up to the light and then it looks very dark reddish-amber. There is quite a bit of dirt encrusted inside, I think it will clean up nicely.
The mold seam stops at the neck base and the neck and lips...
I dug this bottle years ago and have always wondered about it.
It looks like it was originally a pickle, olive or some kind of food jar that was meant to be used as a bank after the food is gone.
It's embossed "PIN MONEY" on one of the panels.
Has anybody here ever seen another ?
I have this traveling ink that looks like it was once part of a travel or lap desk. The top is missing and I have no idea what the wood is but I find the little bottle interesting.I'm guessing the bottle would have to have been blown into the case ? The glass is light...
You guys are going to wish I never joined this board.[;)]
You've all been so helpful and friendly and I can't seem to find any answers to my questions anywhere else.
I have a Whittemore shoe polish bottle in a different color. I know Whittemores are common, but what about this color ?
Do I...
I know the history of this patent med (it's a very cool bottle!) but I'm not sure if they are relatively rare.
Dime a dozen or somewhat rare ?
Did they come in other colors ?
TIA !
I have this pretty little master ink and was wondering what to call this base.
It has 3 mold marks that make it look like it was 3 pieces put together to form the bottle.
I think it says 6 oz on the bottom.
Thanks for all the help you guys !
Another picture in the second post.
Hi Board !
I could use some help IDing this free blown bottle. It's about 4" high with a globular shape and flared lip. A few scattered bubbles and a nice tilted slant.
Push-up OP on the base with some legitimate base wear. It "feels" like old glass, if you know what I mean ?
What do you...
Hello Everyone !
All of you have been so helpful in the past I'm hoping you can help me again.
I purchased this box years ago in a barn sale to go with my collection of medicine bottles. It has the lettering on both sides and held 1 dozen bottles.
I've pretty much sold the collection over the...
Hi ! I picked up this Holy Water bottle for a dollar at my local Salvation Army. The mold seam stops at the base of the neck and it has strap sides, like a flask. Applied lip.
It has HOLY WATER embossed one side and a crown with a cross on the other.
There are some salt deposit stains on the...
You guys were such a big help with my last request I'm hoping you can tell me when this pitcher was made and if it has any value.
The mold seam seems to be polished off just after the base of the neck, if that helps.
I've included a pic of the base.
TIA !
Hello Everyone !
I could use some help IDing this bottle.
I am thinking of putting it up on Ebay but I'd like to know it's approx. worth and age. I know it's an open pontil, but what type of open pontil, or should I just use open pontil in the description ?
It says 'SHIRLEY'S UNIVERSAL...
