In Australia, these bottles range from common to very, very rare. Common names include "round - ender" and "Maugham". They are often described as Maugham patents, but this is incorrect - they are an unknown patent.
All round enders have the blob top closure in Australia. They are all from the period 1880 - 1890.
South Australia, where I live has at least fifty different manufacturers of aerated waters who used them. The rarest also come from South Australia.
The two other closures shown do not occur in round enders over here.
