Atkinson Pyramid Lid

Have had a couple of folks email me images of these for an opinion recently. Watching ebay have observed two others like this one late 2004. All appear the same in the following ways:-

1/ Are overally pink with no signs of age
2/ The shape of the lid is quite domed unlike the usualy flat
3/ The black printing is not sharp and overly black and inconsistent across the face
4/ Lacks detial of previously published examples

They look new to me. Thoughts from other lid collectors.....?

And a third usually seen in collections. Comparing this example many areas to me just do not look right with respect to the images above. Colour aside, the faded dashes between the camels legs and the non existence of these at the bottom of the word paste are of concern. Im sure there are others.....

The color of these genuine overglaze lids looks washed out when you take a photo of them and you can normally see the crazing under the color. The first 2 appear to be brightly colored and do not appear to be crazed and as such would be vary wary.

Hi tigermaple1855, Not a lid I have or see very often. There is one thats pretty washed out on ebay presently for 199 pounds. Maybe some of the UK collectors can point you in the right direction.
