Picked up the J V Sharp Tomato packing bottle pictured in the center recently. Thinking that it was the same as my others. When it arrived in the mail it was totally diffrent bottle shape applied top size etc.. Has anyone seen this Variation before?? not sure how many people collect these but maybe one has passed thru your sales table or been seen @ at show.. Thanks!!

I've always though these type jars were really cool. I've dug the EPSY from Philly and a NY one(can't remember the name). I picked up a Sharp on ebay last year that had a scene painted on it and sold as modern folk art.. It is similar to the fancy panelled example on the right only without the ledge on the shoulder..I've not yet cleaned the clearcoat and paint off. Do you have other similar jars other than the Sharp's?

That is a very nice collection you have John. I knew jar collector's liked them but never seen so many of this type together. Here is a picture of mine. You can see a line on the neck but no ridge.
