Since everyone is being so darn friendly and helpful (thanks!) I'm gonnna post a few more from my yard sale findings.

This one mystifies me - I have the feeling it is a contemporary bottle, but you be the judge. It's a an amber colored square jug shape, with a pontil mark on the bottom and applied handle. The sides have a wavy design to them. Approx. 9 inches tall. This lot I bought had everything from Jagermeister bottles to oldies, so.....it could be anything!

anyone? thanks!

that is a great question, some thing old with a pontil mark and no seam, could it be, i wish i had the answer, but i am sure there are some member's who can. watch and see[;)]

i did copy paste this from one of the site's i refered you to.

No Seams on bottle: bottle may be hand blown, probably has a very uneven shape and is probably a pre-1860 item.

I believe this is a newer bottle from the looks of it.
The form isn't right and the pontil scar seems to look like newer, reproduction bottles.
Probably a current glass house attempt to reproduce and old bottle.
That and the fact there is no wear on the bottom of the bottle.

Made in Mexico. I saw a set just like it with the "made in Mexico" stickers. I was bummed to see the stickers.

Thanks! I suspected as much...I was pretty sure it was new...it seems too modern in design, and in too good a condition.
