HUGE THANKS to OhioRob for passing along this great Tianny & Allen blob with original RICH closure, that's two nice bottles he's found for me out in Ohio, now I really hope I can return the favor. And thanks to the detailed list of all Paterson bottles sold on Ebay the last three years I was also able tocontact a buyer and acquire another unknown/unlisted hutch from David Boyle, a nice 1904 variant, I'll have better pics after it gets here... Jim

The amount of bottles that came out of that one town is crazy. I am not familiar with Paterson but why so many bottles from there? How do you keep up with what you have and what you don't have?

Thanks everyone...

NCbred it's a labor of love, I put in alot of time researching. Sites like this on, hutchbook.com and sodasandbeers.com are a tremendous help as well as the site Charlie created, njbottles.com. I keep a pic of each bottle I have, and those that I have pics of that I need.

When it comes to the dated blobs and hutches from David Boyle I just made myself checklists so that I can keep track of what I have and need. I just received an email from Ron Fowler over at hutchbook and it turns out Paterson ranks 4th among the number of hutches behind only Philadelphia, Pittsburg and Chicago which is mind boggling considering the difference in populations with those cities. Ron said Paterson has more hutches than many states have, and we also have the most quart hutches of any city. The fact that Boyle, along with George Spreitzer, dated their bottles every year adds to those totals, these are what my checklists look like...
