    WTB: Elmer, NJ Bottles

    We only have two bottles from there. We have a Gant's and a Guernsey Dairy, both ACL. We saw a Cooper's Dairy with a baby face neck, but the guy wanted more than we were willing to pay for it. Would be interested in any others with clean ACLs, and any other Elmer bottles. Thank you!

    Asking permissions!

    I used to get permission to metal detect all the time when I was a kid by knocking on doors, but I didn't look even remotely threatening... and now that I live outside of Baltimore, I just don't see people opening their door to me... but I'll give it the old college try.

    I'm kind of terrified to try to knock on doors to get permission.. I'm big, tattooed, and scary looking... even though I'm a really nice guy. Have you had any success mailing letters first to kind of break the ice before doing a face to face?
