    I decided to go out digging today since I had some free time. so what if it was 90 degrees. I first decided to break out the metal detector on a piece of property I noticed they started building on. Farm on next property over says built circa 1740.

    saving rusty lids

    Pulled out a mason with wire still holding lid on. Nice color so i thought I'd keep this one. Will the wire turn to dust now that its out of the ground? Is there any way to preserve it?

    Spring Color
