Just joined. I just bought my first bitters bottle in years and can not find any information on it. Can anyone help me? It is pyramid shaped, hand turned lip, med dark amber and reads from top to bottom "Big Bill Best Bitters"

Hello and welcome aboard!
Big Bill's is a decent bitters. Not super rare, but very desirable.

Hi and welcome !
Big Bill's is a common Bitters . It has a rather unusual shape , and has a cool label with a pic of an obese man ( I presume Big Bill ). If I can find a pic of a labeled example I will post a pic.
I see these with no label priced at shows in the 100.00 - 125.00 range.

I think the "Big Bill" pertained to President William Howard Taft. It was a common nickname for the jovial gentleman in the Whitehouse.

Big bills bitters also has a bottle that is shaped like the fat guy on the label of the other bottle. This one is a bit rarer and commands a bit more money. Although I believe it does'nt have any embossing on it but it is still a cool bottle.

That's because it is a late hand blown bottle. Taft was in office from 1909 to 1913, contemporary with the Big Bill's Best Bitters.
