Hope you can see this. Had to scan from hard copy (1987). Damage is to bottom right corner. About a pencil dia. size hole with very little if any cracking. Couldn't find pic of the damage head on.

In 1987 I dug a Texas Tonic with damage in Lexington Ky. It had a small hole in a bottom corner. Sold it at the Louisville show to a southern collector. ( Jimbo, did you see mine or do you remember another?) I still have pictures.
About 5 years ago we dug another badly broken one in Lexington.
There is a Sam Houston testimonial in Baldwins book I think. I recently put this most of this info on the Peachridge site.

The one I saw was at the National held in Louisville back around '05(?). Older gentleman had it on his table which was over towards the left side of the room, about halfway down. The example I held was mint, and some kinda fine.

I was trying to think of where and when these bottles were made. The closest bottles I can think of were made in New York in the 1850s.
This would be reasonable if they came via New Orleans.
