I looked in the dictionary under "ba.." and couldn't find anything obvious that we haven't thought of already. I considered it could be a misspelling of "bear" ....

hmmm, the embossing could very well be off balance, but since were amusing I'm going to assume it was balanced, or that some effort was made to balance it. Initially I figured there was another word after Russian, giving more room for the bottom line. Hopefully we will find more pieces when we finish the privy.

AMAZING ! I remember back in the 80's at the bottle shows, everyone saying " oh, everythings been dug already" there's nothing else out there." Yeah right, here we are 2009, people still pullin out pontils, and occasionally something like what you guys have done, DIGGIN A ONE OF A KIND UNKNOWN PONTILED NEW ENGLAND EMBOSSED MEDICINE!
