This latest storm is growing by the hour when it hits the Mid Atlantic again it will become a blizzard.
Our area or for that matter any where in the country has never experienced back to back blizzards
with snow totals exceeding twenty inches in less than a weeks time.It looks pretty certain that this
is about to happen.

Look at the size of the storm already in the Northern and Southern Plains.

Here is the latest from the weather desk.

Hi Red it looks like you are in the 6 inch zone.I have a feeling you will get more because of the lake enhancement effect.

Looks like while we may get some snow, the worst of it will pass to the north of us. We lucked out last time as well down here in Abingdon, Va, just about twenty minutes away in Marion, VA they were hit pretty hard that first night. Fingers crossed for it just grazing us again. I'm so sick of snow. Good luck to the rest of you in the direct path of this crap.

Look at the thunderstorm influx into the storm overnight and now. That usually is a recipe for heavy snow
and rapid coastal developement. There is also a blocking high pressure system sitting over Northern New England.
This will not only keep that area free of the storm but will also stall the progression of the storm because of its
counter clockwise rotation. In plain English the storm is big its not going to move very fast and somebodys gonna get
snow measured in feet not inches.Initially Virginia West Virgina the southern halfs of those states were supposed
to miss out all together thats not the case is it?Here is the radar for the nation the storm is huge in size.
