I'm new here. It dawned on me when I unwrapped my glass stuff that I had a bottle collection. I buy em in ones and twos and never thought about it untill they were all together. I have two bottles that I bought at a garage sale. They have pontil marks with seams up the side that end slightly before the mouth of bottle. One is yellowish (citrine?) the other is darker. When I hold the darker one against light, I can see all sorts of swirls in the glass. My question is, how do I know if these are old or, say, something made at the "working rustic frontier fort" near my home? They seem like they are in awfully good shape to be very old. I would rate them "mint." Thanks in advance for your replys. Oh yeah, at the same sale, I found an old Roycroft jug with marks and all...
